Medifast Diet Weight Loss Blog: Who is Bubba? A Fast Weight Loss Motivator

So, you've no doubt noticed our slogan up there and are wondering just who bubba is anyway. Well, put simply, Bubba is an idea we had that put a face to the weight loss issue that we've struggled with for years. We invented Bubba to help us lose weight fast.

Bubba was born during a drive to Chicago. Well, not literally, but during a drive in a snowstorm south to Chicago, Darcy and I were talking about losing weight and the struggle we had in the past. This was just after we started talking the supplements featured on My Natural Supplements, so we were excited to be on the road to success.

It occurred to us that when we reach our goals, we would have lost over 200 pounds together. One of us said, "That's a whole other person!" We realized that the weight we've gained over the years was like a third person in our marriage. Now, that was an eye opener! We took to calling this third person Bubba. We had the idea of publicizing our success with the Medifast fast weight loss diet and the Biolean weight loss system by telling stories about how Bubba is losing weight. "Kill Bubba" became a slogan for a time, but we figured that we might offend a real Bubba or start getting calls asking if someone can donate to save a person who is wasting away.

We never did come up with a decent picture for Bubba. We asked our brother-in-law for a sketch, but he kept coming up with something that looked disturbingly like Darcy's dad. So, we're going with the graphic on top of the page and we're finally, Losing Bubba!
