Start...stop...Start...pause...Weight Loss in Spurts
I'm sure this happens to most dieters, but for me it's been a hard road to get back on track with the Medifast diet. The first challenge is that my DW is no longer on the diet since we're hoping to be blessed with a little one soon and if we're pregnant or just TTC, the diet isn't recommended. She's taking lots of our Phytovite super-antioxidant, which contains the folic acid she needs, and also our great Omega 3 supplement.
So in general there's more food around the house, but it's not like I'm being force fed fatty meals. The great thing about Medifast is also it's toughest challenge, the fact that it's simple makes it predictable, and sometimes boring. When I return from a long day at work, particularly if it was stressful, sometimes I just plain don't want a L&G meal and then another supplement. There's a need for a lot of willpower from 5pm to bedtime.
So given that, here's what we'll try for the next few days.
- BioLean II when I get home from work. Just take all four tablets with 2 Accelerators and 2 Omega 3 supplements. The water alone will take the edge off my appetite, and then the appetite suppressant and fat burners will help me get through the afternoon/evening hours, especially if I am busy in the evenings.
- I think I'll add one Satiete then too. It helps with emotional eating, and while it's not like I'm crying and reaching for the Bon-bons, there is a feeling of "After a day like today, there's no way I'm sticking with the diet!" Satiete will help combat that.
- If I happen to have a bigger breakfast, I want to take Lipotrim too. It will help block the carbs.
- Medifast is still the core of the diet, especially for snacks and lunch during the day, but I'll allow myself a heartier dinner and the occasional real breakfast.
We'll see how it goes. This week I lost about 8 pounds, but a lot of it was water weight. But with a plan, is a forumula for success.
To your health!
